Plastic parts,
made this week.

Your line is stopped waiting on a twelve-dollar plastic clip that nobody stocks anymore. We draw it, print it, and you have it Thursday — we're twelve minutes from your loading dock.

How it starts

Three ways in

Most people arrive with a photo and a problem, not a file. That's the third one, and it's the one we do most.

You have a file

STL or 3MF, ready to go

Send it across. We check wall thickness and orientation, price it on the spot, and start printing on approval.

from $30
Priced on material or machine time, whichever is greater
You have a link

Something you found online

Printables, MakerWorld, Thingiverse. Send the link. We check the licence, tune it for strength rather than looks, and print it properly.

from $30
Includes the licence check most shops skip
You have a broken part

A photo, a sketch, or the thing itself

Send a picture with a tape measure next to it. We draw it properly in parametric CAD — real dimensions, correct wall thickness, right the first time.

$89
First hour of drawing. Comes straight off the print price.
Step one

Send it

A file, a link, or a photo with something for scale beside it.

Step two

Get one number

Same business day. Fixed price, no ranges. Nothing starts until you say go.

Step three

We make it

Printed properly from actively dried filament, then checked against your critical dimensions with calipers.

Step four

Collect or posted

Free pickup in Forest Lake, post from $11.50, or dropped to you on trade orders.

Ballpark

A rough number, right now

Before you email anyone. Pick the closest size and where it lives — that's enough to get within about twenty per cent.

How big is it?

Compare it to something on your bench.

Small parts land on the $30 minimum. Send a photo for a fixed price.

Rates

Parts are priced on whichever is greater — the material used, or the machine time occupied. A small part that ties up a printer all day costs what it costs, and a chunky part that prints in an hour isn't punished for its weight.

Where we're the wrong call

A thousand identical parts with no deadline? An offshore service will beat us on price and we'll tell you so rather than waste your morning. Past about five thousand you want an injection mould, and we'll say that too.

Where a batch is worth doing here: it's due next week and a container isn't; the part is big enough that freight costs more than the plastic; or every unit is slightly different — serial numbers, sizes, left and right handed. A mould can't do that without a new mould for each one. Batches up to about 500 are our sweet spot.

Material

Half the failed prints in Queensland are a material choice

PLA softens at 55 °C. A ute cabin in a Brisbane February gets to 80. We won't quote a PLA part for a vehicle, a shed roof or anything in direct sun — we'll quote the material that survives, and tell you why.

MaterialSoftens atRight for
PLA / PLA+55–60 °CIndoors only. Jigs, prototypes, models, bench fixtures
PETG80–95 °COutdoors, UV, workshop floor, mild chemicals, light impact
ASA / ABSHigher againVehicles, engine bays, roofs, permanent full sun
TPUFlexibleGaskets, grommets, bump stops, grips, vibration damping
Carbon-filledStiffStructural brackets and fixtures that must not flex
Every order, before it prints

Filament goes through a dryer before it goes through a nozzle. Brisbane humidity sits well above the 30–45% filament wants, and wet PETG prints weak and stringy. Ours lives in sealed boxes with desiccant. It's the cheapest quality difference in this trade and almost everyone skips it.
